After many farewell dinners and outings with friends, many visits to the children at Akanyijuka, much running around doing last minute things, a long trip to Kampala on the horrendous roads and one last trip to our favourite restaurant in Kampala it was finally time for us to board a plane and fly out of Uganda. We are heading to London to visit some friends there before returning to Australia for a holiday back there. For those following our journeys I will do a few updates from time to time, including posting some photos from Akanyijuka that I have stored and coming; and keeping the site as up to date as possible with what is happening in Kabale. But for now it is goodbye Uganda and hello western world.
