May 4, 2008

What a magnificent day it was for me.  While we were in church this morning, during worship, I had a strange feeling.  All around me was what seemed like chaos;  local drums, which were good, a keyboardist learning to play and find keys, and everything around me was in a different language; so I had absolutely no idea at all as to what was going on.  While all this was going on I felt so in place, and that God was touching me; I was thinking that this christian walk is not about the world we live in; that being our senses and things that are around, but it is like the christian walk is above or outside of all these things.

I must not have been the only one to sense God’s presence as at the end of the service there was an altar call for people to be filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time, and around 15 people came to the front; three of which were matrons from Akanyijuka.  Looks like Erica’s work with them did a great job preparing them to go further with God.

To lighten things up a bit, today’s photo of the day is of something that Quinton left behind that Pastor Edward got his hands on and did not manage to fix again.  Looks like the Siddans’ will have to come back again to fix things:
