Today was pretty relaxing, just went into town to get a few groceries and stuff and got the car checked out before Quinton and Phil head to Kampala to pick up Quinton’s parents. It was good as it only cost 20,000 shillings, which would not even cover admin fees back home. We also made arrangements with Edward to go to Kisoro to see where the refugees from Congo are. We thought it would be a good experience for us to see a little bit of the reality that others have. We had planned to go a few weeks back but the news paper said that they were sent back. On our trip to Kampala we saw that there were 18,000 refugees entering the camp at time of printing of the New Vision news paper so we thought we would try and go while we had the chance that all of us were available.
I have also updated my photo page with two new profiles of Akanyijuka children: Ronus and Alex!
