Weekends are starting to become my busy days. I started Saturday with a drum lesson at 9 am with Fred. Then Kathryn and I went to the markets so that we could get some things ready for dinner as it was our turn to cook. Then after lunch I had another drum lesson at PAG Church with Sam. Sam seems to be progressing along quite well, but this is due to him playing at church already. Straight after this lesson I picked up Pamela from Jackson’s church and took her to Akanyijuka for the first counselling session with the children. Then by the time I got home it was out again to go to music practice from 4-6 pm. I managed somehow to find time to take this photo of the main street coming into Kabale from our veranda.
Sunday was not much slower then Saturday; starting with playing at church and giving a communion message. Though I had a pretty relaxing time in the afternoon, before going and listening to Quinton’s talk about cell groups. He and Jackson are giving some lessons and pointers on running a cell group as both Pastor Edward’s and Pastor Jackson’s churches endeavour to get some going. I will most likely help Pamela from Jackson’s church with running a group, we think it is best if we just help rather than run.
