June 16, 2007

Today we visited Henry to see what out comes there were from the phone call with the landlord of our house and they had told him that the landlord was coming to Kabale by late next week to ensure that all is fixed before we move in. In the afternoon we headed down to VCCS for a combined practice between Jackson’s and Edwards church’s. It went rather well, Jackson had me share a little and I spoke on the importance of the worship team being and example, not just on Sunday’s but with our lives day to day. And we spoke a little about what worship is. Then we taught them a new song from back home. Although they do not quite have it together it went very well, as I do not think that they learn many new songs. We also went through some other songs for tomorrow’s service and we did a song that they knew that we also knew from back home. I think that the fact that they do not usually sing with instruments lead to quite an interesting time indeed. It was a rocky start, but it was that – a start and I believe that there is much talent just waiting to be developed, hopefully we can get it out.

I thought I’d throw in a photo I got of Phil without him knowing about it:
