It was great to get a good nights sleep, geting set for a rushed day ahead – and a rushed day it was. We meet up with Edward and Ben and went to The Department of Internal Affairs to get our Visa’s underway. Firstly the requirements had changed from when some one had checked for us and we had to go to the city to get some more information and print some rough CV’s and letters. Then we arrived back and had got sent to another section, where the person whom we were to see was away and we were told to return on Monday. With all the tying to get transport to and fro, it was around 3pm in the afternoon when we finished.
After this we wnet looking at different vehicles which is also quite time consuming with and end result of feeling like one acheives nothing. It was good though as we meet the last person at our hotel, after which we had dinner with Ben, and a friend of his from Kabale, Milton, who is helping us tomorrow to look for cars, as he know a lot of local tricks etc.
At dinner I thought that I would likely have many days like today, but just sitting with new and old friends, enjoying a nice simple meal in a relaxed environment was gonna make it all feel worth while. Looking forward to getting to Kabale some time next week to start getting things going on with the orphanage, and after talking to Ben a bit it sounds like things with the house will go well.
